Maker Spotlight: Whit Hazen

I’ve always been a maker, but I have been selling jewelry since I was a teenager and wreaths for the last 2 years.

My identity requires authenticity, and I create pieces that are authentic to my aesthetic.

My vision is to build a dynamic, whimsical, and seasonally inspired floral business that opens up more space within the industry for queer folks and other POC.  Creating that business from my own resources is a big challenge, as it requires me to take slow, measured, and smart moves to grow.

I want to meet others so that we can create sustainable and supportive ways for each other to continue selling our work throughout the year.
