MAKER SPOTLIGHT: APIENC Artists Collective

As queer and trans Asian and Pacific Islanders, our stories are often underrepresented, invisibilized, or erased completely.

We are excited to bring prints, postcards, zines, and personal stories inspired by the Dragon Fruit Project, an intergenerational oral history project that documents and disseminates the stories of queer Asians and Pacific Islanders and their experiences with love and activism from the 1960s to present.

By creating art, both individually AND collectively, inspired by our vast and diverse community histories and lived experiences, we are building ways for ourselves and our people to reflect, heal, and plan for a future of collective safety and justice!
