TAKE GREAT PHOTOS!
Photographing your artwork is super important! It helps us get a glimpse into what you intend to sell at Magic Makers. Good photos make your application stand out. Whether you’re using an expensive camera, a tablet or just your phone, good lighting and backgrounds will make a big difference in the quality of your photo. Plan ahead and take test photos before beginning your application.
▹▹ Send photos of the actual products will be vending at Magic Makers. If you can’t shoot the exact same products, show us some very similar ones you have in the same category.
▹▹ Make sure your camera lens is clean (whether it is a fancy camera or just the one on your phone).
▹▹ Make sure your image is well-lit and in sharp focus.
▹▹ Watch the background of your shot and make sure it’s as clean, neutral and uncluttered as possible.
▹▹ If your product is reflective (from shiny/metal/glass surfaces), try to control what’s reflected on them. For example, you can throw a cloth or sheet over a window to diffuse light, etc.
▹▹ Don’t add unnecessary props or decorations to your shot, they could obscure or draw attention away from the product.
